Since 2021, the company has been exporting large travertine blocks to European countries.

Armenian Stone Festival

The Armenian Stone Festival is an annual event held since 2021. Various events dedicated to Armenian culture also take place during the festival.

Year 2021

The festival began in a modest format, organized by Petro Stone company. It featured a few local stoneworkers' exhibitions and discussions on stoneworking traditions. The number of participants was limited, but it laid the foundation for future development. The event aimed to connect with potential buyers, paving the way for new opportunities in the stone industry.

Year 2022

In the second year, the festival expanded to include a number of new entrepreneurs from various fields and regions of Armenia. The agenda added master classes, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about both modern and traditional stone processing technologies. Collaborations with local enterprises took place, contributing to the development of the stone industry.

Year 2023

The festival became an international event, attracting foreign companies and professionals. Principles of conscious production were emphasized, reducing resource wastage and promoting environmental conservation. Participants also enjoyed relaxation with modern music, and a hospitality format was added to the festival, featuring dishes from local cuisine.

Year 2024

This year, the festival transformed into the largest event in the Armenian stone production sector. The number of participants significantly increased, and the format expanded to include interactive zones, natural stone product displays, and collaboration forums. The festival offered not only a professional platform but also enjoyable entertainment with contemporary music, performances by Armenian folk dance groups, and local cuisine. At the event's end, the best producers and leading professionals in the industry were awarded. The exhibitions highlighted the uniqueness of Armenian stones, raising their visibility in international markets. The festival will continue to develop in the coming years, expanding its format and involving more participants and international partners, contributing to the progress of Armenian stone production.
